THE RIGHT LEADERSHIP MENTALITY AND ATTITUDE

♦What is the Right Leadership Mentality We Should Imbibe that is Needful to Advance our Nation and Move the People Forward?
          -Our Culture of leadership is Distorted, incomplete and the notion of leadership always attracts the naive and the Opportunist.
         -Leadership is not built on leading,but on followership.

                ⚫The quality of our leadership is directly proportionate to the quality of our followership.The emphasis here is quality and not ability to lead.Most people who have usurped the position of leadership are not good followers.

       -An Integrous Leader Guides By Influence and Leads Many to Great Leadership through an Examplary Lifestyle of Good Followership.

        -Many People that are Leading Today,really don't have the idea on how to be good followers,since they probably inherited their position of leadership.
         -IN the leadership scenario like this,where there is No previous history of Followership,people follow the leaders because they have to and not because they want to.

               ⚫FORCED FOLLOWERSHIP MAKES A MOCKERY OF THE RIGHT MENTALITY AND THE PICTURE OF LEADERSHIP.

        -This kind of leadership is a flawed picture of what true genuine leadership stands for and represents.

      -IN the Words of Dr Phil Pringle,he noted that "My effectiveness as a leader lies in the fact that I myself also have a leader and Can be Led."

        -In his words,he Concluded by Saying that "Obedience equals effectiveness and our capacity as leaders is determined by our capacity to SERVE.
       -JESUS CHRIST Had a Huge Crowd of  Followership and Still Does Today,Because He Demonstrated to All the True Picture of a SERVANT LEADER Who was Totally Submissive to the Leading of the HOLY SPIRIT.

28 That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not be served—and then to give away his life in exchange for the many who are held hostage."
29 As they were leaving Jericho, a huge crowd followed.

      -This is quite an interesting paradigm shift from the common erroneous Distorted picture of true leadership we See Around Us in Different Levels and Strata of Leadership.

            ⚫The RIGHT LEADERSHIP MENTALITY is understanding that our strength of leadership influence is directly proportionate to our level of Submission not just to GOD,but also to those people whom GOD places in our world to Influence and Impact Us Positively for our Good.

       -Apostle Paul had the Right Leadership Mentality and Attitude He  Impacted the upcoming Leaders through an Enduring  Good and Stable Leadership Followership Programs and Activities He Organised.

Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
[11] For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
[12] That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

 ♦THE CENTURION in MATH.8:5-10,demonstrated the "RIGHT  LEADERSHIP MENTALITY AND ATTITUDE" when he asked JESUS to heal his servant who had an incurable medical condition.
           -The centurion pointed out to JESUS that he was a man under authority and that the authority He now Exercises over his soldiers rests on his Followership and subjection to the authority of Rome.

         ⚫ THE CENTURION figured that as JESUS is subject to GOD(the healer),He must therefore also have the power and authority to command healing for his servant.
              -HAVING THIS UNDERSTANDING AND SUBMITTING TO IT BROKE THE POWER OF THE INCURABLE SICKNESS OVER HIS SERVANT.

Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard. [16] Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.

             -A Military general played by ED HARRIS in the movie THE ROCK,tried to correct injustice by attacking San Francisco by using soldiers under his commands.
           -He failed because he was not submitted to the higher
authority and he lost his leadership legitimacy with his soldiers.He had a Wrong Leadership Mentality and Attitude that Sabotaged His Effort to Raise up Subordinate Loyal Followership.

         ⚫IN ESSENCE,YOU CAN'T EXPECT TO LEAD RIGHT WHEN YOUR NOT IN FOLLOWERSHIP AND SUBJECTION TO ANY HIGHER AUTHORITY.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
[2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
[3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

        -Anyone in Authority and Leadership that Supports and Encourages Terrorism, Wickedness and Evil Deeds of Corruption Discredits and Dishonors his Right to Leadership and Maintaining Any Authority.

              ⚫God the Owner of All Power and Authority knows Best how to take Care of Such Cases of Abuse of Leadership Privilege.None of Us Have Any Authority of our Own,and Our Empowerment Comes from our Submission to the Flow of the Ultimate Authority of God.

 .       -ALL AUTHORITY and POWER comes from GOD and belongs to GOD,and Power will Naturally Flow where there is "DIVINE ORDER AND SUBMISSIVE LOYAL FOLLOWERSHIP."

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

        -Any authority and power that is not submitted in FOLLOWERSHIP to the Almighty GOD is illegitimate, lacks credibility and will not pass the test of time.
       -Making GOD our great object of Worship and Source of Power will always help us to keep the right picture of leadership so We Can Maintain the Right Leadership Mentality and Attitude at All Times.

♦GOD is the one that provides the lines of command through which HIS AUTHORITY flows from HIM to us.
       -When we are submitted to HIM and HIS AUTHORITY,WE BECOME EMPOWERED.
             ⚫OUR CALL TO LEAD IS NOT A CALL TO ASSUME AUTHORITY OVER PEOPLE,BUT TO SUBMIT OURSELVES UNDER AUTHORITY.

Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
[5] Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

         -We should not ignore or neglect the inclination to be good followers,since no one is the leader in every situation or season of life.
         -Sometimes we are a follower,a manager and other times a LEADER.We just have to be Sensitive to know when we ought to Be Following and when we ought to be Leading.
       -This was the Understanding the Children of Issachar had that Caused them to Stand out among their Brethren as GREAT LEADERS.

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

       -I would Love to Conclude with  the words of Dr Phil Pringle,from his Book "TOP 10 QUALITIES OF A GREAT LEADER",He pointed out that:

             ⚫"NO LEADERS WILL BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT HAVING PROVEN THEY CAN ACCEPT AUTHORITY OVER THEIR OWN LIVES IN THEIR FORMATIVE STAGES."

         -What He is Saying in Essence,is that we will always have people to submit to and others whom we lead.This is the right picture and Mentality of Leadership We Should All Pursue,Embrace and Submit to.

        -LET'S Be Rest Assured that When it Comes to the Issue of LEADERSHIP, SUBMISSION AND AUTHORITY,God is Ever Faithful to Fix it and make it Right According to His DIVINE WILL AND PURPOSES.

             ⚫ NOTHING IS AS HUMBLING AS KNOWING THAT NO ONE IS THE LEADER IN EVERY SITUATION OR SEASON OF LIFE.WE NEED THE CAPACITY TO ACCEPT WHATEVER ROLE A GIVEN SITUATION DEMANDS.

        -MAY THE GOOD LORD GRANT US THE GRACE AND CAPACITY TO ACCEPT WHATEVER ROLE A GIVEN SITUATION DEMANDS OF US AT ANY MOMENT AND SITUATION OF TIME IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME.Amen.
